DESCRIPTION

On this 4-day hike you will ascend the top of Nevado del Tolima. This volcano, with its 5,221 meters of altitude, is the second highest mountain in Los Nevados National Natural Park and next to Nevado del Ruiz and Nevado de Santa Isabel, the three glacial mountains of the park. The view is spectacular and with the clear sky you can see the whole National Park. Not only do we have the physical feat of reaching this altitude but also have the opportunity to explore the unique, exotic and vulnerable páramo ecosystem with its extraordinary vegetation, a unique region that can only be found in the north west of the Andean highlands of Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Peru. This route is only for clients with previous experience in the mountains, with a desire to push themselves physically and mentally.
