PARAMO TREK SAS is a company legally incorporated in Colombia, with tax identification number NIT 901.093.369-9 and National Registry of Tourism 30975. Located in street 5 # 9 – 33, floor 1, in the municipality of Salento, Quindío. Our main objective is to design, develop, market, and promote tourism plans/itineraries to be operated by the same company or by third parties.
When accessing any service offered by PARAMO TREK SAS, it is assumed that the client is fully aware of the content of the offer and also understands the conditions and restrictions of the program to be taken. If you have any concerns, please contact the customer service of PARAMO TREK SAS ([email protected]), this must be done before accepting any service and/or the sending of any payment. There is no refund of money after paying or making a deposit for any service unless the exceptions noted in the contract are applied.
Throughout the process of requesting information, registration, reservation, and completion of payment forms, it is understood as a tacit acceptance of these terms and conditions with PARAMO TREK SAS.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, it is presumed that the client is aware of the level of risk involved in the activities offered by PARAMO TREK SAS and that they are freely accepted, with each client assuming full responsibility for any damages caused to themselves or to third parties during the execution of said activities.

We strive to provide the best services for our travelers, however, sometimes our routes are found in remote places where the conditions of accommodation, transportation, and services may not be those that you would normally expect.
These Treks require flexibility, patience, an open mind, a good sense of humor, and the understanding that changes can be made without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control. By booking any of our tours you agree for the implementation of any necessary changes.

Once we have received your request and the deposit we will sign a contract under the following conditions.
Each client can book through the “reservation request” button on our website (www.paramotrek.com) or by email. The reservation request must include information about the specific program and the price that has been agreed between Paramo Trek and the traveler in advance.
The “Activity Registration Form”, “Medical Records” or other required forms must be completed in a truthful, concrete and concise manner. Special requirements and health problems must be specified at the time of booking. When Paramo Trek deems it pertinent, it will request certain documents to accredit a medical condition and an individual’s capacity to access the services. The lack of information in these formats will be considered as a cause of exclusion of responsibility of PARAMO TREK SAS.
It is also reported that the traveler must have valid medical insurance and appropriate coverage to address any situation that occurs throughout the advertised service; expenses such as illnesses, accidents or any other situation that may arise during the service provided by PARAMO TREK.
After sending the relevant forms and making the initial payment, agreed upon according to the activity, Paramo Trek will send you written confirmation (via email) with all the details of the service and other relevant documents, if necessary, considered as orders of the service.
PARAMO TREK reserves the right not to accept service orders when they do not comply with the requirements demanded by the company or whenever the service requested by the traveler exceeds in any way the capabilities of the company.
The customer is obliged to pay a deposit through our payment portal to confirm a reservation.
If the reservation also includes transfer and accommodation, we may demand the total amount since these are services with third parties.
The entire payment is required no later than 10 days before departure or during the informative talk held prior to the activity.
If we do not receive the full payment in due time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.
Bank charges are shared between the traveler and Paramo Trek.
When the reservation is not to be used, it must be canceled in advance, no less than fifteen (15) days. Any change intended in your reservation, you must request it in writing with the same notice.
These penalties apply even if the reservation is made between the ranges of established dates and may vary according to the season or special events such as fairs and parties etc.
If the person hides pathological, psychological or physical information, PARAMO TREK SAS rejects all responsibility as a result of an event occurring during the trek.
When the client or user cancels their trip due to illness or death of a traveler, it must be at least twelve (12) hours in advance, the request will only be taken into account if the supports that justify the cancellation are received: ( a) Medical disability or medical history of the EPS/hospital or health center, (b) death certificate.

PARAMO TREK SAS reserves the right to cancel a program in case of any of the following circumstances:
Please note that Paramo Trek will not be responsible for reimbursing additional expenses incurred by the client in the preparation of their trip through Colombia, such as expenses not related to the Trek and others.
Paramo Trek reserves the option to make the reimbursements it considers, appropriate but is not obliged, in case the cancellation by the client is due to personal reasons or force majeure. (Read cancellation item or change of reservations).
Paramo Trek will have a term of no longer than thirty (30) calendar days following the date in which the application was filed by the client or supplier. When the client communicates the cancellation and sends the banking information to make the transfer. Only when both conditions are met will the 30-day term begin.
The money will be transferred to a bank account in Colombia and if it is an international account the client or provider must assume the cost/s of the bank transfer.
Our treks include an accident coverage policy during the activity. We advise you to purchase your own travel insurance policy in advance with the company you trust and with greater coverage (taking particular note of maximum altitude covered).
The client is aware of the risks and consequences of participating in the activities offered by Paramo Trek. That in addition to the existing risks, some of the activities that will be exercised during the trip may be of high risk, which includes certain risks to suffer damages such as, but not limited to: physical, mental or cognitive damages caused by adverse climatic conditions, activity at high altitudes, traffic rules, lots of or no traffic, road conditions of the roads that are required to be taken, among others.
Likewise, there may be risks arising from the remote location where the service is performed and that prevent timely medical assistance and other benefits to which people have access to in populated places. Situations of insecurity, theft, robbery, and others may also arise.
Paramo Trek contracts services to third parties up to and including mules hire, services in the peasant farms, transport services. As we are only intermediaries between the supplier and the contractor, Paramo Trek does not presume responsibility for thee services.
All trips of PARAMO TREK S.A.S include a medical assistance policy, contracted with the company COLASISTENCIA (Colombian Assistance), where PARAMO TREK S.A.S operates as an intermediary for the purchase. This assistance policy has specific coverages and amounts and operates under conditions given by the company COLASISTENCIA. The coverage is:

The client authorizes the use of image rights over analogue, digital photographs, audio-visual productions (videos), reproductions, digital or written public communication, transformations, and distribution. Paramo Trek may use said material for any purpose, at its discretion, without limitation, and without the obligation of having written permission from the party, only with the signature of the contract, or registration document. They will be owned solely by Paramo Trek, including the patrimonial and moral rights over it.
In compliance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, by which provisions are issued for the protection of personal data, PARAMO TREK SAS in its capacity responsible for the processing of personal data, informs the general guidelines:
These terms and conditions apply to any personal data record made in person and/or online for the connection to any of our services. The owner of the data registers or delivers your information freely and voluntarily and acknowledges that you have read and expressly accepted these terms and conditions.
